In 2023, thanks to supporters like you, we provided over 1,300 shares of fresh fruits and vegetables to community members facing food insecurity through our Food Box Program, and we saw over $18,000 in Double Up Food Bucks earned at our market.
With your continued support, we aim to reach even greater heights in 2024. Our goal is to provide 1,400+ food box shares to Schenectady residents in need and redeem over $20,000 in Double Up Food Bucks through increased outreach efforts, fostering a sense of ownership and connection among local residents. Programs like the Food Box Program and Double Up Food Bucks are essential in supporting community members' access to nutritious local foods. Open your Facebook to the news feed/facebook . com homepage.
On your left, find “Fundraisers” in the menu that is listed under your name.
Under “Raise Money,” select, “Raise money for a nonprofit”
In the “Search for a nonprofit to support” search bar, write “Schenectady Greenmarket Inc”
Select “Schenectady Greenmarket Inc”
Fill in the questions prompted on your left. Choose a cover photo you like and start raising funds for SGM!
